Recipies, snacks and all things yummy! Empty Healty home made chips

Post  tracy conabeer Fri Mar 27, 2009 9:39 am

Peel potatoes and slice into thick chips
Parboil for about 5-7 minutes
Spread on a baking sheet or greseproof paper and spray with 1 cal oil spray
Bake on about 200c for about 50 - 60 minutes (depending on how crunchy you like them), turning half way and spray again.

For anyone who loves marmite

The same as above but toss in marmite after par boiling

Yum yum delicious

Enjoy! T x

Tracy mentioned Cashew Butter can be bought in Tesco 'free from' range.
I also found, Almond butter, which can be bought from Holland & Barratt.

Went shopping today and stocked my cupboards with ' real, healthy suff'... It looked so good, I ate the lot...and feel really healthy !!! Very Happy

Sounds like a heavenly snack Twisted Evil

We still haven't managed to find much of the 'food doctor' range yet.
Where did you guys find it. Question

Not sure what to have for dinner tonight, maybe some of the stuff we pre-prepared or an ommelete or maybe some fish??

Recipies, snacks and all things yummy! Empty recipe

Post  Richard L Thu Apr 02, 2009 3:46 am

Hi you all,

Here is a small recipe that I tried the other day and it was very nice. Very Happy
1 chicken breast
1 glove of garlic
Chopped onion (depending on your taste)
Black pepper

Crush the garlic, onions and blck pepper together and work into the scored chicken breast. Wrap in foil and place in a pre-heated oven (190-200) for 20 minutes.

The aroma and taste was superb. Laughing

Don't you just miss those 'wake up workouts' affraid
